Autumn 2

Welcome back to all the children in Year 4, I hope that you had a lovely half term holiday.

We have started lots of new topics upon our return to school.  In Geography, our new topic is called Three Giant Steps, and we will be looking at the Port of Dover, France and Canada and spotting human and physical geography features in these places.

In RE, next week, we will spend time on Judaism as part of our studies on Other Faiths.  The children always enjoy learning about other religions and some of their customs.

This term, year 4 will present their class assembly, so we will soon start our preparations for this.  We look forward to seeing you at this event.

November is the month of the Holy Souls and Remembrance so in school the children will have the opportunity to pray for their deceased relatives and reflect on those that gave their lives in wars.  Poppies will be on sale in school.

It was lovely to see Year 4 parents at our school Mass for All Saints' Day.   Thank you for joining us.
