If we live by truth and in love, we shall grow in Christ

Beauty and the Beast!

A wonderful time was had by all on our school trip to the pantomime in Harpenden.  Watching the military precision of all 6 classes walking down to the Eric Morecombe Centre was a sight to behold!  The children were a credit to the school and really embraced the atmosphere and the fun.  The production of Beauty and the Beast was very good and it was a wonderful opportunity to experience a very British tradition of visiting the pantomime at Christmas and experiencing British culture.

This week, Year 4 also had the opportunity to see the dress rehearsals of the KS1 and Reception nativity plays, which were incredibly cute and poignant.  Needless to say, the Christmas mood is upon us all and learning about subordinating conjunctions in English has been a challenge but the children are starting to get to grips with it!

We finish this week with Christmas dinner for 240 people so I won't moan about preparing for 12 people next week!  It will be a fun event. And the following week, there will be talent shows, sing-offs, Christmas parties and lastly - the Santa Fun Run!

There will be lots of opportunities to wear Christmas hats and jumpers so please send them in for the festivities.

Thank you for the Christmas cards and gifts that you have sent.  It is extremely kind of you.

From Year 4 and the Year 4 team, we send our best wishes for a Happy Christmas and New Year.
