Oceans, Pirates and lots more!

Happy New Year! The children have come back filled with lots of excitement after a visit from Santa.

We have been working on Continents and Oceans in Geography. The children are reading 'The pirates next door' for our English unit which they are enjoying. In Maths we are working on using the inverse operation for addition and subtraction. 

We have a pirate workshop on the 25th January. A letter has gone out to all the parents today. I do need parent helpers for the day. Your child will need a pirate costume which can be used for our class assembly also on Friday 16th February. 

I am teaching the children to use google classroom in school and have sent some instructions for homework this week. Please can you log your child in at home and access the homework.
