If we live by truth and in love, we shall grow in Christ

World Book Day

What a day! We all had so much fun and were delighted to listen to a variety of stories. We used our creative writing skills to create our own settings.

All the children looked amazing!

Year 2 have been working hard to create our own non-fiction class book based around animals.  The children went to show Miss O'Sullivan who was amazed by their hard-work, presentation and knowledge of the features of a non-fiction text.

Here are some examples. The book will be available for you to view at parents evening.

The titanic workshop was a huge success. The children learnt all about the different classes, the purpose of the titanic, the big dreams of the passengers and sadly what led to the sinking of the titanic. They had an enjoyable day and at the end of the day they acted out scenes to tell the story of the titanic to the whole school.

Science day was also another day full of fun and non-stop learning about the world around us.

I am looking forward to meeting with you all at parents' evening.

Thank you for your on going support with costumes and homework.

Have a good weekend

Mrs Sandhu.
