Year 3 Friday 1st March
Back to school from half term and Year 3 have dived straight back into their learning. This week we have started to tackle the tricky unit of fractions in our maths. The children have planned and started to write their own fictional stories in English. In Re, we have been looking at the importance of sharing with one another and when we come together in church to share and listen to God's words. In Art, we have been looking at cave paintings found in the mountains in Lascaux, France. The children have been really focused on their reading and comprehension skills this week. We finished our class book of Pugs of the Frozen North, which the children have really enjoyed, and completed the text by writing a book review. Let's hope for slightly less wet weather next week!
