Year 6 - Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

This week, Year 6 participated in an early Platinum Jubilee Celebration for Her Majesty the Queen. We started our celebrations with a whole school assembly and learnt some more information about the Queen's life and achievements before singing the National Anthem together, whilst waving our union jack flags. Following this, we then returned to class to make our very own crowns inspired by those worn by Her Majesty and played some traditional British games. We finished the day off with a delightful "Afternoon Tea", where were able to toast her Majesty. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and will treasure our special Jubilee books forever.
